As part of her ongoing exploration of observing and documenting manifestations of natural light, in 'A Place', Mahmood shoots inconspicuous reflections on different surfaces in the domestic sphere that are initially perceived as gateways - an invitation to see beyond the interior facade and witness ephemeral urban like silhouettes that postulate places once visited, while gradually asserting the inaccessible.
